 LAKESHORE      YOUTH      PROGRAM
 
 
 
THE PRIMARY GOAL OF OUR YOUTH PROGRAM IS TO DEVELOP LIFELONG BOWLERS. A SUCCESSFUL PROGRAM IS JUDGED NOT BY THE NUMBER OF STAR PLAYERS, BUT BY THE NUMBER OF COMMITTED PLAYERS. THE PROGRAM NEEDS THE COMMITTMENT OF ADULT LEADERS (PARENTS, GRANDPARENTS, AND LAKESHORE LANES VOLUNTEERS) TO HELP THE KIDS ON SATURDAY MORNINGS. THE ADULT VOLUNTEERS WILL BE ASKED TO ASSIST THE JUNIOR BOWLERS REGARDING SCORING, RULES, ETIQETTE, AND HELPING THE YOUTH, IN GENERAL, WITH THEIR BOWLING.

 

THE JUNIOR PROGRAM WILL CONSIST OF THE FOLLOWING DIVISION;
PEEWEE'S (BUMPERS)BOYS & GIRLSBOWL 2 GAMES
BANTAMS (No-Bumpers) BOYS & GIRLSBOWL 2 GAMES
PREPSBOYS & GIRLS BOWL 3 GAMES 
JUNIORSBOYS & GIRLS BOWL 3 GAMES 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
BOWLING BEGINS PROMPTLY AT 9:30 A.M. EACH SATURDAY. PLEASE ARRIVE AT LEAST 10 MINUTES  PRIOR TO STARTING TIME FOR A LITTLE WARM UP. SEE LAKESHORE YOUTH CALENDAR FOR THE START OF THE NEXT SEASON. YOU MAY JOIN AT ANYTIME DURING THE SEASON.

OJCTA Schedule 

 

Oregon Junior Classic Tournament Association
The OJC holds tournaments once a month, starting in September and ending with a Tournament of Champions in June. The Tournament is split into 4 divisions with the Classic division averages being 200 and up, "AA" division being 180 to 199, the "A" division being 156 to179, and the "B" division being 155 and under.
